What
does it cost?
FormaLogix leases each of the 3D Virtual Fit
kiosks at a very low cost. This lease covers the
use of the kiosk as well as service and support.

Do
the kiosks need to be connected to the internet
in order to work?
No. Each
kiosk is designed to operate on its own without
an internet connection. However, keeping the kiosk
updated with shoe model information requires that
it make nightly connections to the FormaLogix
secure servers, connecting over a regular phone
line or a high speed connection if availible. |

What
happens if the phone line is
in use?
Nothing. Each 3D Virtual Fit kiosk will keep operating
and there will be no disruption to our service.
Once the phone line is available each kiosk will
automatically connect back to the FormaLogix servers
and re-synchronize with itself. |

Do
you capture any personal information about our
customers?
In the default kiosk configuration no personal
identification information about your customers
is required. The only information stored is their
Virtual Fit ID and the image of their feet. However,
each store can configure their kiosks to capture
some customer information such as name and email.
Also, every customer can go online to a store
sponsored web site, to voluntary enter their personal
identification. |

How
accurate is a 3D Virtual Fit measurement?
Within a millimeter. |

Can
we sell space on the kiosk to third party's?
Yes. The 3D Virtual Fit kiosk provides a great
co-marketing opportunity between the retailer
and their vendors. |

Can
we use the kiosk to show specific store promotions?
Yes. By using our FormaSync update process, we
can update any kiosk to show specific content
for a store or location. |

How do we integrate the 3D Virtual Fit system
into our web site?
FormaLogix has a number of APIs that expose our
functionality via web services. These APIs will
allow a site to send a request to the FormaLogix
servers with the customer's ID and shoe SKU number.

Can
I track sales online?
Yes. Every transaction is recorded by our servers
and reports can be run at any time to see how
many people are using the system and from which
stores they originally received their scan for
auditing and measuring purposes. |

Why
do you need shoe last data?
Our proprietary VForms are based upon the last
for a specific shoe. |
|

What
are VForms and why do you use them?
VForms (Virtual Forms) are a secure and proprietary
format developed by FormaLogix which are used
instead of the original shoe last when doing Virtual
Fit comparisons. VForms not only improve the performance
and accuracy of our system, but also serve to
protect the intellectual property of the manufacturer
as they cannot be deconstructed or reverse engineered
to recreate the original last. |

Are
the original shoe lasts ever used during a Virtual
Fit?
No. We only use VForms. |

How
do we share shoe last data?
Shoe last data can be sent on CD or DVD media
or transferred over a secure and dedicated FTP connection.

Does
FormaLogix keep our shoe last data?
Once VForms have been created for each last, FormaLogix
will either return the original files, or store
the data at our state-of-the-art data center for
future use or backup. Exactly which depends on
the manufacturer. |

Do
other manufacturers have access to our data?
No. All shoe lasts and VForms are stored independently
from each manufacturer and cannot be "cross-pollinated"
or otherwise exposed. |

Can
we see who buys our shoes?
This decision is left up to the retailers who
sell your shoes. It is recommended that you talk
with them to get a better understanding of what
data we can share. |

What
happens if our shoes are not in the system?
The 3D Virtual Fit kiosk will inform the customer
that the shoe has yet to be added to the system,
and then prompt them to choose another shoe. Each
retailer can also view reports to identify shoes
that are missing and make arrangements to have
them included. |
